About Poodles of Piedmont

At Poodles of Piedmont, we are a family-owned and operated Standard Poodle breeder located in Morganton, North Carolina. While we are based in the foothills of North Carolina, we work with families both locally and across the United States.

We began training dogs in 1991 and have spent decades working with a variety of breeds. Through our experience in obedience training, we developed a deep appreciation for the intelligence, versatility, and temperament of the Standard Poodle. Today, we are dedicated to raising well-rounded, healthy puppies that thrive as both family companions and lifelong partners.

Our breeding program focuses on producing Standard Poodles with excellent temperament, strong structure, and overall health. All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive genetic health testing to help ensure we are producing healthy puppies with sound temperaments.

Our puppies are raised in our home with daily interaction, socialization, and early exposure to everyday environments. We also begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) within the first few days of life to support proper development.

We operate using a structured waitlist system to ensure each puppy is placed thoughtfully with the right family. Many of our puppies go to homes throughout the United States, and we are experienced in coordinating safe and reliable transportation options when needed.
