Thank you for visiting Poodles of Piedmont. We are a family owned and operated Standard Poodle Breeder in the foothills of North Carolina. We are located in Morganton, NC in Burke County, which is conveniently located within a reasonable driving distance to Charlotte and Asheville, NC as well as Johnson City, TN and Greenville, SC.
We began breeding and training German Shepherds over 30 years ago. During obedience training of various breeds, we fell in love the the Standard Poodle due to their intelligence and trainability. Poodles are eager to please and also very good-natured around children. We work hard to ensure that our breeding stock continues the outstanding breed characteristics of the Standard Poodle such as intelligence, temperament, structure, and conformity to AKC standards. Our goal is to produce healthy dogs with wonderful temperaments that show well and that are the perfect family pets.
