Puppy Pricing & Payment
At Poodles of Piedmont, our Standard Poodle puppies are lovingly raised and handled by our entire family. Our children take part in caring for and raising the puppies from the moment they are born. Each puppy is well loved, adored, and thoughtfully socialized. We begin introducing our puppies to doggy door training at approximately five weeks of age.
Pricing is set per litter. Each litter's price is listed on its litter page — visit our Current & Upcoming Litters page and click on a litter to see its price. Sales tax applies to all purchases.
Approved applicants may place a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure a position on our Master Waitlist. This deposit is applied toward the total purchase price once a specific puppy is selected, in accordance with our Master Waitlist Agreement. The deposit is refundable only if we are unable to provide you with a puppy within twelve (12) months of the date of your Master Waitlist Agreement.
Accepted forms of payment include cash or credit card. Puppies must be paid for in full at the time of pickup. If payment in full is not received within fourteen (14) days after the puppy turns eight weeks of age, the puppy may be offered to other parties and the Puppy Sales Agreement may be considered null and void.
Puppy selection takes place at approximately seven weeks of age, in the order of the Master Waitlist, after temperament testing has been completed. Puppies are not selected prior to this time, as accurate temperament assessments cannot be reliably made before seven weeks of age. The Breeder always reserves the right to the first pick of any litter; if exercised, the Breeder's selection is made before waitlist selections begin.
Puppies are eligible to go to their forever homes at eight weeks of age or later.

North Carolina sales tax applies to all puppy purchases and will be collected at each payment.
